BSU; Black Student Union Amber Washington Varies - During MTSS and Afterschool The Black Student Union (BSU) of NKC High School is committed to intellectual, cultural, social and ethnic diversity. The BSU's focus is to build awareness, education, and a new level of consciousness about being an African American in today's society. We aim to teach others about diversity and show that through engaging activities focused around acceptance and tolerance, we will get a better understanding of others while learning about ourselves.

DECA Zachary Johnson Will primarily be meeting during MTSS Co- curricular organization that prepares students for careers in marketing, entrepreneurship, hospitality and food management, and finance. Takes what we are learning in class and allows students to take the next step with it to network or compete.

FBLA Shannon Beane We will meet 1-2 times per month during MTSS. We will use this time to prepare for district competition in February at UMKC. This club helps prepare and challenge students for a future in business. Whether you are considering a career in business or just have a competitive streak, this is the club for you. Men's Mental Health Club Zach Johnson To lower the number of teen sucides in NKC and encourage male students mental health
