Purgold Yearbook Earns National All-American Rating

Congratulations! For the first time ever, the NKC Purgold Yearbook staff earned an All-American rating in the National Scholastic Press Association's critique program, for their 2023-24 yearbook. The critique is a written evaluation and rating of a work submitted by a publication. Professional journalists, experienced media advisers and other media professionals serve of the NSPA board of judges. The All-American rating is the highest rating given in the critique service.

The 2024 Purgold was recognized with four Marks of Distinction for above average work in Essentials, Writing/Editing, Design, and Photography. The 2024 Purgold yearbook was edited by Class of 2024 graduates Sara Hanon, Aixa Ramirez, and Kiara Sanchez, and advised by journalism teacher Mary Prichard.
